Oh Weekend, you are such a #tease!

Just as we start to get comfortable, enjoy taking things slow in the morning and being able to come and go as we please…. the weekend comes to an end. 

One thing is for sure, no matter what happens on the weekend we still push through with our meal prep. In the spirit of keeping this short and sweet (this weekend really has been about family time! and terrible two tantrums!) I would like to share a few snapshots of — what’s on the menu this week!

(Missing, beautiful roasted chicken, to be served with brussels sprouts and a big side salad). 


Turkey Meatballs, 21 Day Fix approved and homemade spaghetti sauce.


21 day fix approved, beef and butternut squash stew! I added extra veggies and seasonings.


My delicious, HEARTY vegetable soup (to celebrate the ending of so many COLD winter days).


Finally, my husband was a bit of a baker this weekend. He made quite the treat – homemade savoury scones! YUMMY! Next batch to be gluten-free.


A week isn’t complete without fresh veggies for a delicious Asian inspired stir fry!
